Plenty of sunshine today, plenty of starshine tonight, as high pressure is doing a good job keeping our sky free of cloud cover. Look for some increasing clouds later Thursday, especially for northern counties as an area of low pressure will approach to our north. Friday will clouds with snow showers in northern Maine, with more in the way of sunshine for central and southern counties.
Saturday will bring the return of sunshine and brisk temperatures, as high pressure to our west will produce a northwesterly breeze.
Low pressure south of the Great Lakes will show-up on our weather map as we head into the new work-week; that low will likely help form another low along the Mid-Atlantic states, with that low eventually tracking northeast. There is a chance this system could bring us some snow as we begin the new week, but it appears the bulk of any precipitation will pass to our south. As always, the computer models we rely on to interpret data will likely shift over the next few days, so stay tuned for the latest (or better put, "log on" for the latest forecast.)
