BERWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Kim Talon and her family start constructing their holiday light show on October 1st. They need all that time to set up seven miles of extension cords, handpainted characters, lots of PVC piping, and 125,000 lights.
Just beyond Hubbard Road in Berwick, it's hard to miss the giant candy canes that greet you as you approach Talon's Lane. But be sure to keep driving; that's only the beginning of a light display that winds its way through the street, down the driveway, and ends in Santa's Workshop in the Talon Family's front yard.
In addition to enjoying the light show, the Talon Family also requests that you bring a non-perishable food item to drop off in a bin at the end of the driveway. At the end of the year, those donations will be brought to a local food pantry.
The light show is synced up to two hours of music and 88.1 FM. You can find more information on their Facebook page.
