(WELLS, Maine) NEWS CENTER -- For decades, the Bateman family has decked the halls both inside and outside their home at 33 Acorn Drive in Wells. In fact, most of their neighbors on Acorn Drive decorate their homes too.

Mary and Wayne Bateman say it takes about three days to put up all their decorations. They've been collecting the lights for years. Inside the home are collections of ornaments that the Batemans add to each year. Some include Irish setter decorations, toy trains, Charlie Brown ornaments and toy airplanes.

The traditional light display attracts several passers-by each year. This year alone, the Batemans estimate they have seen more than a hundred people drive by to check out the display.
