Today we'll have temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Scattered rain and snow showers will be around throughout the day. Winds will be much calmer than yesterday, out of the southwest at 5-15 mph. It'll be cloudy today across Maine and New Hampshire.
Overnight the clouds will start to move out as the low moves to our north. Temperatures will be chilly after a cold front moves through tonight. We'll drop into the upper teens and lower 20s tonight. It'll be a bit breezy with winds out of the west at 10-20 mph.
Things much cooler for tomorrow. Most places will see high temperatures about 10 degrees colder than today's highs. We'll make it into the mid 20s in the northern part of the state and into the mid 30s in the southern part. It'll be partly sunny and breezy with winds out of the west at 15-20 mph.
We have the potential to see a couple flakes on Christmas Day in southern and coastal Maine and New Hampshire. That system will pass to our south and could just skirt the coastline during the morning hours.
Next situation we're watching is a more likely one. It's looking like we'll see a strong area of low pressure move into the region Wednesday night into Thursday. If this play out the way it's looking now it could leave us with some solid snowfall totals. We're still five days out so it's hard to say if this will actually play out as expected but it's fun to hope.
Have a great day. See you tomorrow morning.
