(NEWS CENTER) The new year brings big changes to the world of Maine politics. Democratic analyst Ethan Strimling and former Maine GOP chairman and candidate for Congress Ted O'Meara look back and ahead In The Arena with Pat Callaghan.
The most obvious change is the retirement of Sen. Olympia Snowe after 34 years in The U.S. House and Senate. Strimling and O'Meara talk about Snowe's legacy, and the task that awaits her successor, Sen. Angus King.
