RAYMOND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - We have an update this morning on a car crash in Raymond that threw a 6 month old baby, car seat and all out of a vehicle.
From pictures of the damage you can see just how a car seat would have made it out of the car carrying Chynna Blaney, of Raymond with her 6-month old son.
Police believe Blaney, who was not familiar with the area, ran a stop sign at the intersection of North Raymond Road and Ledgehill Road just before five o'clock yesterday.
She crashed into a pick up truck driven by Angie Horler, of New Gloucester.
The crash ejected Blaney's baby who was strapped into a car seat that was secured within the car.
Police say the baby and the car seat ended up in a snow bank.
Horler found the baby and emergency crews took both mother and child to Maine Med with significant injuries.
We're told that both are going to be okay.
No one else was hurt.
