Good morning. Slippery conditions out there in some parts of the area this morning. There is a freezing rain advisory in effect until 9am for most of us with the exception of the immediate coast and downeast Maine.
We will see some showers sticking around today but they will be extremely scattered. Foggy too this morning in some locations so please be careful driving. Temperatures will stay mild today, making it into the upper 30s and low 40s. Clouds will be around for the day as well. Light winds out of the south today at 5-10 mph.
Overnight we'll have temps in the 30s just about everywhere. We could see some very isolated showers as well. Winds will be light and out of the south.
For tomorrow things stay warm, with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. We could even see 50 in some locations. It will be cloudy but I'm not expecting any precipitation.
Temperatures stay mild for the day in Monday as well until a cold front move through. It'll get chilly Monday night, back into the 20s. Highs on Tuesday will be seasonable and only make it into the 30s.
Things stay seasonable through the week but by Friday it will get very cold as arctic air moves into the region. Temperatures won't be able to make it out of the mid 20s.
I hope you have a great Saturday. Just remember roads could be slick in some spots even though most locations didn't pick up much (if any) ice, it doesn't take much at all to make the roads tricky.
