After a quiet Tuesday (and the return of cooler temperatures) low pressure eventually tracking to our south will swing some snow into our neighborhoods Wednesday. The snow should start between 8-10am in the Greater Bangor area, with 2-5" of accumulation expected by Wednesday evening. Less snow will be seen in northernmost Maine, with a chance of some mixing with sleet and freezing rain along the coast.
Sunshine will return on Thursday in the wake of a departing front, with a gusty northwest wind transporting colder air back into New England. It appears the weather story for the rest of the week will feature quiet but brisk conditions as we head toward, and into the weekend.
