Some of us are seeing snow showers out there this morning. Snow showers will continue throughout the morning and early afternoon. The farther north and east you are the more you'll see. 1-3" for Northern Maine, a dusting to an inch for Central Maine and New Hampshire, and a few flakes farther south. Temperatures will stay in the low to mid 30s today with winds from the southwest at 10-15 mph. In Southern Maine and New Hampshire we will actually see some clearing by this afternoon and could see a few peeks of sunshine.
Overnight temperatures stay quite mild in the upper 20s and low 30s. We'll see a few scattered snow showers out there tonight. Winds increase slightly and will be out of the southwest at 10-20 mph.
Tomorrow temperatures quite mild as the second warm front moves thorough the area. It'll make it into the low to mid 40s in most locations. It will get quite windy though as the low moves closer to the area and creates a very tightly packed pressure gradient. Winds will be from the southwest at 25-30 mph and could gust as high as 45 mph at times. We'll see the snow showers continue through the morning then clearing out as we head into the afternoon. Far northern areas will have the best chance for some snow tomorrow morning.
After the arctic front passes though the area by Sunday evening temperatures will really cool off. Overnight into Monday we'll drop into the single digits and negative single digits. Monday will struggle to make it into the teens and will only do so in southern locations. It will be sunny on Monday.
Tuesday has another chance for snow showers in the area. Temps won't be able to make it out of the teens.
Wednesday and Thursday stay cold.
Have a great Saturday. I'll be back tomorrow morning and have your football forecast for the Patriots game at Foxboro!
