There won't be any shoveling going on anytime soon, but there will be plenty of shivering! The coldest air of our young winter season is upon us, and will be sticking around for the next several days.
Expect sunshine for the remainder of the week, but west to northwest breezes will steer some mighty cold air into our neighborhoods. Actual air temperatures will stick in the single numbers, with the winds producing sub-zero wind chills on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Wind chill warning areas will experience wind chills of 30 to 40 degrees below zero, with wind chills of 20 to 30 below expected in the advisory counties.
Next chance of snow? Friday night into Saturday morning as low pressure tracks to our south and east. Between now and then....BBBRRRRRRRRR!
