Another beautiful February day today, with plenty of blue sky along with reasonable temperatures. We do have some changes coming this weekend however...
Saturday will bring sunshine early, then increasing clouds as low pressure to our west transfers some energy to a developing low along the Mid-Atlantic. It appears that low will track too far south to bring all of Maine accumulating snow; right now I'm thinking light accumulation by later Sunday for the Bangor region into Downeast Maine; 2-5" near Rockland toward Augusta, with 5-9" in the Portland area.
Unlike the last few snowstorms, this one won't come with as much wind, and the snow will be a little more sticky.
Monday will bring a cloudy start, with a brighter sky developing as the day progreses.
