LEBANON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Maine State Police say they have a mystery on their hands; they found a car half-submerged in some water near the Mills Road in Lebanon, but no one around who would have been in it.
It all started around 2:30 Saturday morning when someone called in to report an accident.
Lebanon Fire and rescue says they got there 2 minutes later and all they found was the car.
Crews checked the area, but no luck. A check of the vehicle's registration shows it belongs to someone who doesn't live in Lebanon.
