BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Thousands of People looking for some ideas to spruce up their homes, or make cost saving improvements are expected to take a trip to the Bangor Home Show this weekend. This is the forty third annual home show, which is being held at the Bangor Auditorium and Civic Center. There are 300 vendors and more than 200 companies at this years show. That includes, building contractors, remodeling contractors, and plenty for the do it yourselfer too. Organizers say the theme of this years show seems to be improvements that save money.
"A lot of people are getting into energy efficiency factors these days, trying to save money around the house," said promoter Dean Appleman, "People are pinching pennies around their living space finding products that are green and energy efficient."
The Home show runs through Sunday. Admission is seven dollars for adults, kids under 12 are free.
