YARMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- It looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend for getting outside. You probably have some work to do in your yard to get some things growing, and to stop other things from getting started.
If you don't want crabgrass to take over thie summer, now is the time to put down corn gluten, to prevent the seeds from taking hold. The rule is, when the Forsythia blooms, it's time to do weed control and fertilize.
It is also time to get some crops started. Lettuce, Spinach, Beans and Carrots... just to name a few.
Tom Estabrook of Estabrook's Greenhouses has some tips in our Your Garden video segment.
