ABILENE, Texas (KRBC) -- Checking Facebook is something that close to 665 million people do almost daily, sharing an average of 300 million pictures per day. So when Shanna White shared a picture of herself, she didn't think much of it.
"I had hoped it would reach some people, more people," she explained. "I had no idea it would reach this many people."
It was a side by side comparison photo. It showed herself after eight years of using meth and showed herself clean and sober just six years later.
"I keep that picture to remind myself where it took me, where I was. I felt defeated. I look at the other picture and I think, 'Wow, I did it,'" White said.
And hundreds of thousands of Facebook users are liking the fact that she did. The photo has received well over 160,000 likes and over 12,000 shares.
