GLENBURN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing 15-year-old girl from the town of Glenburn.

Nichole Cable was last seen on Route 221 in Glenburn on Sunday, May 12th. She is described as a white female, brown hair with blue eyes, weighing 90 pounds and standing at about five feet tall.

Authorities say officers from different agencies were working to locate her, including the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Law enforcement officials, joined by Cable's parents at a news conference, declined to say Monday if she's in danger or if she's run away before. No Amber alert was issued.

Officials say if anyone has information to contact the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office at 947-4585.
