AUGUSTA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Governor LePage is asking his department heads not to testify before the state legislature's Appropriations Committee.
That committee oversees the budget and other financial matters.
LePage and lawmakers are clashing over a number of things right now, among them passing the budget and paying back the hospitals.
The same committee has an incident last weekend where Governor LePage wasn't allowed to speak before the Appropriations Committee.
There has also been a dispute this week over a budget-related message that plays on loop on a television outside his office at the state house. After being told to move the TV to inside his office, the governor said he was moving out of his state house offices saying he was being censored.
