CALAIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police say they aren't sure yet if the man who struck and killed and pedestrian in the parking lot of a store in Calais will be charged.

Sargeant Chris Donahue says 49 year old Zina Eller died after being hit by a car drive by 74-year old Kenneth Martin.

It happened Thursday night in the Marden's parking lot. Police say Martin was pulling into a parking space when he hit Eller.

Donahue says the investigation is ongoing and it's unclear whether Martin will face charges.
