State police spokesman Steve McCausland says the body of 66-year-old Peter Corey was found in the rubble following the explosion at about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday. Two others suffered minor injuries.

Three people who lived near the condo that exploded sustained minor injuries and were treated and released. They are Robert and Rosemary MacKay, who occupied the other half of the building, and Mary Hallsey, who occupied an adjacent building.

Several homes in the area have been damaged and debris is littered around the street. Investigators say some of the other buildings in the complex are uninhabitable and an engineering firm will assess them.

The town of Yarmouth says all voting today will be done at the Town Hall due to the blast.
