Police say Lebanon man left four children in hot car

FRANKLIN, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- A Lebanon man is under arrest after police in say he left 4 children in a locked car with the windows up in 97 degree heat.

28-year-old Jeremiah Hollenbeck has been charged with 4 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Police in Franklin, NH say they were called by witnesses at the Family Dollar who told them the kids had been in the car by themselves for 10-15 minutes. Police say when they arrived, the found 2 nine month-olds, a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old inside the car. They were treated and released from Franklin Hospital.

Police also say when Hollenbeck left the store, he had stolen property on him, as well as illegal drugs. He is facing a felony drug possession charge. Hollenbeck is being held on 200-thousand dollars bail. The children are with a family member.
