DETROIT, Maine (AP) - Maine state police say detectives will continue to gather evidence from the scene of a suspicious death in the town of Detroit.
Spokesman Steve McCausland said Somerset County deputies were called to a home early Thursday for a report of a middle-age man being found dead in a Main Street home.
An autopsy is planned on Friday.
State police, which investigate homicides, were called in to assist.
For now, though, McCausland said it's being treated as a "suspicious death."
The man's name is being withheld as police try to locate relatives to notify about the death.
