Plenty of puddles to greet us earlier today, as a frontal boundary along with low pressure in the vicinity produced some steady rain across our neighborhoods this morning through mid-day. As I write this (late afternoon Friday) we are spying some scattered showers and thundershowers on the radar.

The weekend will feature plenty of sky variety; a trough and plenty of instability will bring a mix of clouds, sun and showers both Saturday and Sunday.  The brightest sky will be found across southern counties, with more in the way of cloud cover and showers for northern counties.

Looking ahead-it appears our first full week of August will get off to a decent start, with a partly sunny sky along with a few showers on Monday.

Ready for the weekend? Hope it's a great one for you, no matter what the weather brings!
