As the weather headline indicates, our holiday weekend weather scene will not be great. On the other hand, there will be many hours each day of dry conditions while we also dodge some raindrops from time-to-time, so we should have plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun.
We can blame a frontal boundary for the clouds and raindrops; the front will be located in northern counties on Saturday, so the best chance of showers will be well north of Bangor. Unfortunately the front will sag further south Sunday, which means clouds and scattered showers will be more wide-spread during the second half of the weekend.
Labor Day will bring clouds and showers as an area of low pressure slides along that stalled-out frontal bounday.
So again, not the best of weekends-but I choose to be a half-glass full kind of dude, so I am going to stay optimistic!
