PORTLAND, ME (NEWS CENTER) - The Cumberland County Civic Center Board of Trustees has called a special meeting Wednesday morning at 8AM to discuss the Portland Pirates lease situation.

Sources close to the negotiation tell NEWS CENTER's Lee Goldberg that the meeting is not being held to discuss reopening lease discussions with the team, but rather to discuss any pending legal action coming from the Portland Pirates.

The Pirates have told the Board of Trustees that if negotiations are not re-opened by Wednesday, they would possibly take legal action against the county.
