Our outstanding weather pattern continued today as high pressure continued to produce plenty of sunshine across Maine. The trend will hang in there for the first part of the weekend, with a blue sky expected for Sunday. Changes are coming for the second half of the weekend as we welcome the autumn season at 4:44 Sunday afternoon; a frontal boundary sliding our way from the west will thicken our cloud cover Saturday night, with periods of rain expected during the day Sunday. Good news! Looks like Monday will be a good bounce-back day, as the front will be off to our east by then. High pressure will take over the weather pattern as we head into the first week of fall, so expect Sunday (and cooler temps) for Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy!
