CORINTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A man from Corinth died after his car was struck by a vehicle that ran a stop sign.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says Christine Hood - who's from Berlin, New Hampshire - failed to stop at a stop sign Saturday night at the intersection of Route 15 and Hudson Hill Road in Corinth and crashed into a car driven by Keith Trask.

Authorities say Trask was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, where he was pronounced dead.

Two passengers in Hood's car were treated and released.
