PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) - The University of New Hampshire Police Department says that a body pulled from the Piscataqua River Sunday morning matches the description of a missing student.
Jonathan Zygmont has been missing since Tuesday, the 17th. Foul play is not suspected. Police say the body matches Zygmont's physical appearance, as do the clothing and a backpack crews recovered.
The state medical examiner is expected to make positive identification tomorrow. The school is opening up its counseling center and 24 hour help is available over the phone at (603) 862-2090.
