TOPSHAM, Maine (AP) - A 13-year-old boy in Maine is facing charges after he allegedly took his parents' sport utility vehicle and led police on a high-speed chase.
Topsham police say the boy took the vehicle following an argument with his parents Monday afternoon and drove to Interstate 295.
The chase ended in Freeport when the boy's vehicle skidded off an exit ramp, where he was charged with unauthorized use of property, eluding an officer and operating without a license. Officials say he was taken a juvenile detention facility. Nobody was hurt.
