Another pleasant October day today across the Pine Tree State; a generous helping of sunshine, light wind, and reasonable temperatures as high pressure has been in charge of our weather pattern.
Any changes ahead. You bet! Tomorrow look for increasing cloud cover as an area of low pressure will pull our frontal boundary our way. Late in the day Wednesday the clouds will begin to produce some scattered showers across the region, with steadier showers late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The remainder of Thursday will features plenty of cloud cover with some showers visiting, with another low bringing some additional clouds and showers on Friday.
Fortunately, the sky will brighten for Saturday (a big day with UMaine homecoming festivities going on) with temperatures ranging in the 50s to low 60s.
By the way, our 2013 hurricane season remains remarkably quiet; the seaon ends in November, and we still don't see any hurricane formation in sight! (No complaints, for sure!)
