Showers Will Visit Halloween Night

Lovin' the weather today; sure, it's a bit brisk-but with all the sunshine it's been a beautiful late October day. We do have some changes coming...

After a sunny start on Thursday expect increasing cloud cover as an area of low pressure will steer a warm front our way.  I expect showers to arrive late afternoon/early evening (I'm thinking between 5 and 6pm.) Hopefully the showers will hold off long enough to get the bulk of the trick or treating done. Rain will become more steady Thursday night into Friday morning as the warm front is followed by a cold front. Along with rain I do think the wind will become pretty gusty Friday morning, with gusts over 30 mph likely.  Along with the rain expect some very mild air (highs in the 60s, thanks to that southerly wind.)

Friday afternoon expect some breaks of sun to mix-in with the cloud cover and showers, with a partly sunny sky expected for Saturday. In fact, weather conditions should be ideal for the U-Maine football game Saturday afternoon.

Clouds will be more common on Sunday with a risk of showers.

Hope your trick or treating outfit doesn't get wet! Maybe you should go as a raindrop?
