PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Authorities say a suspect in a Portland bank robbery earlier this year has been captured in Florida
The FBI announced Tuesday that 25-year-old Matthieu O'Rourke of Portland was arrested on Oct. 30.
O'Rourke, who also uses the alias Tony Angeles, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Portland in connection with the robbery of the Key Bank on Forest Avenue on Sept. 27. Police say a man entered the bank at 10:30 a.m., handed a teller a note and left with cash. Nobody was injured and no weapon was shown.
He made an initial appearance in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and will be returned to Maine at a later date.
He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted.
