BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Eastern Maine Healthcare Mall on Union Street in Bangor has reopened after going into lockdown after a telephone threat on Thursday.
The Mall notified Bangor Police just after 9:30am that it received a call at the switchboard that staff considered threatening. As police responded, the Mall says it went into lockdown to ensure the safety of its patients and staff.
Investigators say they identified a suspect working with the staff and the Healthcare Mall. Kip Reischman, 56, of Bangor, is charged with terrorizing. He is being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
