VASSALBORO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police are continuing to investigate the death of a man whose body was found on property near the Maine Criminial Justice Academy on U.S. Route 201 in Vassalboro.
The body of 69-year-old Thomas Namer was found outside an abandoned mobile home on Friday.
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says investigators are treating the death as suspicious. A man who lived next door was questioned as part of the investigation. Courtney Shea, 30, was taken into custody for a probation violation unrelated to the death.
Investigators are trying to retrace Namer's activities Thursday night.
McCausland says the body was found by Kennebec County Sheriff's Deputies, who were called to the scene around 7:00am.
