(NEWS CENTER) - Two men who had been missing since Friday were found safe Sunday evening.

Travis Hafford, from East Millinocket, and Ryan Stevens, from Millinocket, had left Friday morning to go hunting near Clayton and/or Chamberlain Lake.

They were supposed to return home that evening for dinner, but the men never showed.

A search was mounted and wardens looked on land and by air for Hafford and Stevens.

In the course of the search, they found a truck belonging to another man from Canada who had been reported missing.

Just before 6:00 PM Sunday, border agents involved in the search found Hafford and Stevens alive and well near Eagle Lake Township.

The Maine Warden Service says the truck the men were driving in may have become stuck, but the investigation remains open.
