BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --- It's a debated issue in our state, once again coming up: Should Maine forest rangers --- much like state police officers and game wardens --- be allowed to carry guns?
Workers with the forest service have been fighting for years to get that right. They feel they need to have a firearm for protection while they're on duty in the woods.
Now a state task force is supporting the idea. NEWS CENTER's Mike DeSumma has more.
