NEWS CENTER - Maine's ties to the NASCAR Sprint Cup are an exclusive group that just added another full-time membeR as Old Orchard Beach native Archie St. Hilaire will co-own a team for the entire 2014 season.
The owner of Go Green Racing has been running a team since 2009 in the tier below the Sprint Cup: the Nationwide Series.
Back in 2012, he entered six races in NASCAR's top circuit, but failed to qualify for any of them.
St. Hilaire will share ownership responsibilities with former Sprint Cup crew chief and New Hampshire native Frank Stoddard.
Two-time Sprint Cup series champ and Oxford 250 qualifier Terry Labonte will be behind the wheel for the season opening Daytona 500.
The rest of the driver lineup is to be determined.
