Well, this is a "hum-dinger" of a snow event for many states, including we folks here in Northern New England. Low pressure tracking our way will continue to produce moderate to heavy snow across our neighborhoods during the overnight hours into Friday morning (check our snowfall map.) It appears coastal communities will not see as much snow accumulation, thanks to some rain and sleet mixing-in. But inland locations will see a generous helping of snow, although some mixing with sleet and rain at times can't be ruled out.
Friday will bring steady snow early, then expect periods of snow to visit as the low continues to lift to our northeast. Along with the snow tonight and tomorrow, expect a gusty northeast, then northerly wind through the period.
Yet another low will track our way Saturday, which will bring some clouds and periods of mostly light snow to Maine. Sunday will be the brighter of the two weekend days.
