WESLEY, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Maine State Police are investigating a head-on collision that closed down route 9 for 2 1/2 hours Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 4:30 in the Washington County town of Wesley.
State Police tell us Brittany Hood was driving west in a Toyota Corolla with her 9-year old daughter. Hood crossed the center line and hit a Nissan Altima driven by Angela Churley.
Churley's 15-year old daughter and 12-year old son were in the car. All involved were transported to local hospitals, Hood however, was flown by lifeflight to Eastern Maine Medical Center. We're told all injuries in this crash were non-life threating.
