28-year-old Heather Gailloux of Sanford was headed south on the Maine Turnpike when Police say she went out of control, flipped over, and landed on the northbound side of the highway.
Police say Gailloux was not wearing a seat belt, and was thrown from her vehicle. She died at the scene. Eleven-year-old Justin Gailloux was also in the car. He was taken to Maine Medical Center with a broken shoulder, but is expected to recover.
