Sarah Delage joined the NEWS CENTER team in October 2007.
She has been asking questions for as long as she can remember, and at Emerson College she figured out there was actually a career in that. She earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science. As an intern for the I-Team at WBZ in Boston, she learned how to ask tough questions and dig deep for the real story.
Sarah began her career as WLBZ's first Backpack Journalist. She spent three years figuring out how to "do it all," shooting, writing, and editing stories from across Eastern, Downeast, and Northern Maine.
In September of 2010 she brought those skills south to WCSH in Portland. You can usually spot her by looking for the tiny reporter toting the big camera and tripod.
Sarah loves to connect with people through social media, so follow her on twitter: @sarahdelage, and friend her on Facebook:Sarah Delage.
Sarah resides in Portland, where she pinches herself every day because she can smell the ocean from her house. When she's not chasing fires or covering city council meetings, she volunteers for the MS Society of Greater New England.
