Missing Girl, Father Found In Milton, NH

SANFORD (NEWS CENTER) -- Police in Sanford say two-year-old Hailey Traynham has been located in a residence in Milton, New Hampshire.

Both the girl and her father are said to be in good condition.

Her father, 38 year old Gary Traynham is under arrest. State police say he's being held in New Hampshire on a fugitive charge from Maine. Police in Sanford say they will extradite him back to Maine

Hailey disappeared after Traynham allegedly assaulted the girl's mother at her Sanford apartment. Traynham faces a gross sexual assault charge in connection with that attack. The girl was taken from her mother at 11:15 a.m. Monday. 

Sanford Police Chief Thomas Connolly says the FBI helped to find the girl using cell-phone technology.

Milton Police Chief Mark McGowan says Traynham was discovered by a hunter, who recognized Traynham, and apparently convinced him to give himself up.

Trayhnam is scheduled to be in court in New Hampshire on Thursday.
