SKOWHEGAN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — A Madison man was found dead Sunday morning after an apparent ATV crash in Skowhegan.
Family told authorities they became concerned after not hearing from him for three days. According to the Maine Warden Service, the 56-year-old was staying at his camp in Skowhegan. Family and friends conducted a search Sunday morning and the man was located just over a mile from that property.
Wardens said it appeared the man lost control while operating the ATV along a trail and rolled over into a ravine, with the vehicle coming to rest on top of him.
The Warden Service is investigating.
