Police looking for man who robbed store

*UPDATE* - Police said they arrested 24 year-old Jacob Drapeau of Orono, Maine on Wednesday in connection with Tuesday’s robbery at the Bangor, Maine Ocean State Job Lots store.

Officials said he was taken into custody by Bangor Police officers during a traffic stop on Cedar Street.

Drapeau was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and has been charged with Robbery, said police.

*UPDATE* – Police said they are very interested in speaking to 24-year-old Jacob Drapeau of Bangor in connection with a robbery that occurred Tuesday morning at Ocean State Job Lots.

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - - Bangor police are looking for a suspect who they said robbed an Ocean State Job Lot store Tuesday morning.

Police said a male suspect entered Ocean State Job Lot location at 1129 Union Street in Bangor and presented a hand-written note to a clerk.

According to police, the note indicated that he had a firearm and that he wanted money from the cash register. No firearm was observed. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount money and left the scene in a green Dodge pickup truck.

The suspect was wearing a gray (hooded) sweatshirt and tan cargo-type shorts, according to police.

Bangor Police Officers said they have recovered the suspect’s green Dodge and are processing both the truck and the scene at this time.
