No verdict yet in child pornography case

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A case that has been drawn out since 2011 still has no verdict set. Dana Wilson stands charged with possessing child pornography on his laptops in June of that year.

It is a judge and not a jury that will decide Wilson's fate in this bench trial.

On Friday, the judge heard closing arguments. The defense says while the evidence shows there was child pornography on Wilson's computer there is no proof that he downloaded it, or was even home at the time.

But prosecutors say it couldn't be anyone but Wilson, and certainly not his son, as the defense maintains is another possibility.

In a meeting with the two attorneys, Judge Murray said it would take her more than a few days to go through everything with this case and that there was no specific date as to when the verdict would be made.
