Court documents tell more about Belfast shooting victims

BELFAST, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - We're learning more about the victims in yesterday's shooting in Belfast.

55-year-old Lynn Arsenault is sorely missed by her co-workers at Bank of America in Belfast. She was shot and killed, and Her 22-year-old son Mathew Day was shot and injured. It appears he was in trouble with the law. But not as much as the man accused of shooting them, 44 year old Todd Gilday, of Belfast.

Day, who survived the shooting, was listed as being in stable condition at Eastern Maine Medical Center yesterday where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was due in court yesterday on charges of Aggravated Assault. his court date has been moved to September 26th. As for his mother, Lynne Arsenault, she was a long time employee at bank of america in Belfast. The company released this statement:

"We're shocked by this tragic news, and our thoughts are with Lynn's family. She was with the company for 10 years, and was close with many of her co-workers."

Gilday is being held without bail at Waldo County Jail on a charge of murder and elevated aggravated assault.
