Handgun and jewelry stolen from Portsmouth home: Police

PORTSMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - - Portsmouth police are investigating a residential burglary that happened on Wednesday.

Detective Adam Kozlowski said Portsmouth Police Officers responded to a residence on Rockingham Avenue around 5:05 pm. on September 7, 2016. 

“It was discovered that the suspect(s) forced entry into the residence and stole a handgun and jewelry,” said Kozlowski.

Portsmouth Police said residents need to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.   Anyone with further information is asked to contact Detective Adam Kozlowski at (603) 436-2511.
