Man dead after his car crossed center line and crashed into trees

Crash kills man in Greene

UPDATE: The man killed in this crash has been identified as 41-year-old Craig Ward of Winthrop, Maine. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. Police say Ward was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The cause is still under investigation.
GREENE, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- One man is dead after crashing into trees just off Rt 202 in Greene Thursday morning. 
Androscoggin County Sheriff's Department officials said a single vehicle crossed the center line near Key Hill Road and struck trees just off the roadway.
Officials said a male was deceased at the scene. 
The identity of the driver has not been released. Officials say speed and alcohol do not appear to be a cause at this time. They are investigating the possibility of a medical condition at the time of the crash.
