BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Many people will tell you that you can't quite have Thanksgiving without turkey.
It's been the centerpiece of Thanksgiving dinners here in the U.S. for nearly two centuries. In Maine that tradition is no different.
This week NEWS CENTER's Tennyson Coleman learned how to make a Thanksgiving turkey for the first time in his life. The millennial was assisted by Chef Jay Demers. Demers is the Culinary Arts Department Chair at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor.
