Officials make arrest in Newburgh Dysart's robbery

NEWBURGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office said they made an arrest in the Newburgh Dysart's robbery.

Officials said they arrested 22-year-old James Manning August 15 without incident. Officials took him to the Penobscot County Jail and set a $50,000 cash bail. He is expected to make a court appearance Monday.

Manning allegedly robbed the Newburgh Dysart's Travel Stop just before closing time on Friday, August 8. Video surveillance showed the person pull a handgun and demand money. Investigators said the robber pushed a customer aside, then waved the gun erratically at the two clerks behind the counter.
