Fatal accident in Cornville

CORNVILLE, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police say alcohol and speed appear to be factors in a fatal accident in Cornville.

It happened Sunday night just before 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Molunkus road, Route 43 and Rowell Mountain road.

Police say 54 year-old Stanley Johnson of Madison hit a guard rail and lost control of his pickup truck. The truck went into a ditch, traveling approximately 75 feet rolling over several times before ending up on the opposite side of Rowell Mountain road.
